Tour of High Bridge Bike Race
The Annual Tour of High Bridge is being held on Saturday, September 1, 2012, and is a US Cycling Federation sanctioned event. It brings professional racers from all over the world. In addition to world class cycling, there's games for the kids, three races for kids, food and drink. The first race begins at TBD pm and the last race should end about TBD.

Route of Bike Race
The race starts on Washington Avenue near Union Forge Park. It continues up Washington Avenue and turns right onto Church Street. The race proceeds from Church Street and then turning left onto Seal Street. At the end of Seal Street, the racers turn right onto Mine Road. From Mine Road, the racers turn right yet again onto Cokesbury Road. At the intersection of Cokesbury Road and River Road, the racers make a right and follow River Road along Lake Solitude. River Road then empties into Washington Avenue where the racers approach the finish line.
Directions to High Bridge
From New York Area: Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 14- Newark Airport/ Route 78 West. Take Interstate 78 West to Exit 17- Clinton/Washington Route 31. Stay on Route 31 North. The first stoplight you come to will be a jug handle for Halstead Street, Clinton- continue past this stoplight. As you approach the next stoplight, take the exit ramp for High Bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and proceed on 513. Turn onto Arch St bridge, bear left, go through tunnel to intersection of Washington Ave and Arch St. Straight ahead is parking at Custom Alloy. To Register/Check In is at Union Forge Park go left onto Washington Ave.
From Easton/Allentown Area:Take Route 78 East in New Jersey until Exit 16. Take this exit and proceed to the first stop light. Continue straight through the stoplight, and at the "T" intersection you come to, make a left, and continue on Route 31 North. The second stoplight you come to will be a jug handle for Halstead Street, Clinton- continue past this stoplight. When you approach the third stop light, take the exit ramp for High Bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and proceed on Route 513. Turn right onto Arch St bridge, bear left, pass through tunnel to intersection of Washington Ave. and Arch St. Parking will be straight ahead at Custom Alloy and Registration/ Check In will be left onto Washington Ave. to Union Forge Park.
From Philadelphia Area:
Take 95 North into New Jersey. Take Exit 4 and take Route 31 North. Continue North on Route 31 through the towns of Pennington, Hopewell, Flemington, and Clinton (approximately 30+ miles). After crossing over Interstate Route 78, the first stoplight you come to after that will be a jug handle for Halstead Street, Clinton- continue past this stoplight. When you approach the second stoplight, take the exit ramp for High Bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and proceed on Route 513. Turn right onto Arch Street. After crossing the bridge, bear left and proceed through the tunnel. You will come to the intersection of Arch Street and Washington Avenue. Parking will be at the Custom Alloy parking lot located at the intersection of Arch Street and Washington Avenue. There will be parking for food vendors only in the playground parking area at Union Forge Park. Turn left onto Washington Ave. to reach Union Forge Park. Registration/Check In, will be at Union Forge Park, Washington Ave.
